SAPPHIRE VALLEY SKI AREA is pleased to offer our “After School Ski/Board Program for 2012.”  This is a structured educational program where the students will be taught the fundamentals of skiing or snowboarding while still enjoying the lifetime skill of the sport.  Children will be placed in group settings according to their age and ability.  The intent of this after school program is to provide a safe learning environment while creating an atmosphere of fun!

Dates:  Monday, January 9, 16, 23, 30

                               or

            Tuesday, January 10, 17, 24, 31

 

Cost:  $120.00 to Ski or Snowboard the 4 Sessions.

 

Each Session will have the following schedule:

            4:00 to 4:30    Snack and equipment issue

            4:30 to 6:30    Group instruction

            6:30 to 6:40    You may pick up your child    

            6:40 to 9:00    Your child may ski on their own

 

 

Package includes Lift Ticket, Rental Equipment, Group Instruction and Snack.

Please contact Ann Sculley, School liaison, (828) 743 2251 if your child is unable to attend or with any questions you may have regarding this program. 
           She will notify you if class is cancelled.

IMPORTANT:

We are asking that you bring your skier/snowboarder to the Ski School Office during normal working hours prior to the start of the After School Ski Program to allow us to fit the student into the proper equipment.  Please make sure that the student is wearing the same thickness of socks that they will be wearing for the Ski School.  If you have any questions, please contact the Ski School at 743-1579 or Ann Sculley at 743 2251.
