The Recreation Center is open daily 8:00 am to 9:00 pm with many amenities for the whole family. Indoor and outdoor pools ( outdoor pools are open during the warm season), sauna, Jacuzzi, fitness room, movie rentals, game room, pool tables, ping pong, miniature golf, bocce ball, air hockey, croquet, foosball, tanning beds, horseshoe pits, massage therapy, bicycle rental, various arts & crafts classes, facials, rainy day games and equipment for track activities.

BEAR ALERT !!!
Western North Carolina is seeing a rapid increase in the black bear population. The bears are getting into trash cans and anywhere else they think there may be food. PLEASE put your trash in the provided trash cans and keep the lids on tight. If you happen to see a bear, more than likely it will be running away from you, but remain calm and call Public Safety at 743-2199 to report a bear sighting.
REMEMBER!! These bruins are the real thing, they've been here for thousands of years and aren't going anywhere, they are not Teddy Bears, and you should NEVER approach a bear at anytime!! ( You've got zoom on that camera....right? )

SAPPHIRE VALLEY KIDS CAMP
For those between the ages of 5-12 and love to be active, we have designed a program just for you!
Field trips, swimming, kids games, tennis, slip & slide on the slope, outdoor games and a whole lot more!
Kids Camp is offered as a half-day, full-day and weekly session.
We are here Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Reservations are required. June thru August.
